Bike Routes celebrates the release of his quintessential song, “Delicate,” ahead of album dropping in June

“This is the song that I used to dream about when I was a kid,” David Osterhaut, better known by his musical alias Bike Routes, announced in a Facebook post promoting the release of his latest single, “Delicate.” The new track, which features an accompanying music video, is the lead single off his upcoming album “Prairie.” The energetic, stadium-rocking feel of the song is complemented by a prominent saxophone line played by Jake Clemons of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band.

Osterhaut is a New Jersey native and credits artists like Bruce Springsteen and My Chemical Romance as major influences. Underneath the synth layers reminiscent of The Killers and Bleachers, “Delicate” bears a resemblance to Springsteen with its jangly, high-energy feel. On the whole, “Prairie” will be a well-rounded project, as Osterhaut cites hip-hop, punk, and hardcore as other genres woven into the album.

Bike Routes is kicking off a national tour on March 14, with dates in Phoenix on March 26 and Los Angeles on March 28. You can find the link to stream “Delicate” on all streaming platforms and presave “Prairie” (coming June 2026) at the following link: bikeroutes.lnk.to/prairie
